Management noticed our issues last season, missed tackles at LB, our only pass rusher was a liability in run defense and our cornerbacks weren't physical enough. We then draft a guy that has 32 sacks over two seasons but I had no idea how powerful Kikaha was, he stands up the run much better than Junior did. |

I've never been a fan of a "project" in the first round. Like the player. But, I think you should get more impact at that spot in the draft. As far as Grayson goes, I didn't like the pick and he didn't show me anything in preseason. With obvious holes at G, TE, and WR that weren't addressed, again, I thought the Saints could have got better value. That being said, with Armstead coming off an injury and Strief not being young, he could end up being a great pick. And if Grayson develops into the future QB of the Saints, it was a steal.

There were definitely some very good WR's left in the 3rd round, if Grayson turns out to be good then it'll be okay but if WR depth is our downfall this season then we'll be cursing a few of the picks just like every year.
