The New Orleans Saints punctuated a sweeping turnover of their roster on Saturday, choosing to waive cornerback Stanley Jean-Baptiste, a second-round draft pick in 2014.
Three other players from the Saints' 2014 Week 1 roster were also waived or released on Saturday. The 2015 squad, although still not finalized, will have 26 new faces, about half the locker room. Eleven of the newcomers were in college a year ago. Seven were on another NFL team. Four, including kicker Zach Hocker, were out of football and trying to get back in the league. read more, see complete list , and see neat graphic here |

From a quick glance the turnover is mostly a depth thing. Unlike the previous major roll over SP did I am left scratching my head more than ever.
this is a turn over better to be talked about at mid season then when all said and done. |

Loomis is a brilliant money guy (although we are only currently utilizing 81% of of our payroll potential), but we need a personnel guy badly. Loomis and Benson need to be smart enough to see that this is an issue. The turnover number was high last year, but not as glaring as now.

The turnover already happened to the staff this offseason. Now we can sit back and hope that this draft is as productive as it looks like it can be.
