Are You Kidding Me??? Saints Cameron Jordan investigated for nightclub incident.

I vividly remember the days, when guys with bad reputations, would come to the Saints and be reborn as ANGELS off the field, and redeem themselves as men.

Guys like Carl Nicks, Jeremy Shockey, or guys like Vilma with his high rolling card games....they'd come to New Orleans with a reputation, the bad reputation would EVAPORATE once they got here, and Sean Payton would remake them as leaders.

But lo and behold, these guys would come to the Saints, you wouldn't hear a PEEP from them, and they'd keep it together during the regular season and stay OUT OF THE HEADLINES. If Carl Nicks was an off-field discipline problem at Nebraska, you SURE never heard about him being one while he was here with the Saints....

How many of you remember the pictures of Shockey in Vegas, so drunk he could barely stand up...I'll say it again: if somebody cut up or acted out, it was all very mild, and if they did anything stupid, it was during the extreme off off OFF season.

There was even one time where Drew maybe had a few too many, and led a crazy "Who Dat" chant on top of the pool table at Lucy's Retired Surfer Bar, remember that one? Again, that was mild, and it was AFTER THE SEASON was LONG over with. NOT THE WEEK BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS.

Last year there were tons of reports of Saints guys partying at Republic, lots of gossip and rumors about certain guys on the team being out late, seen at strip clubs, posting stupid stuff on Twitter, throwing money around in the balcony VIP section, like something out of HBO's "Ballers." Some of those guys are no longer with the team. Some are still here. There was also the same types of rumors around in 2012 when Spags was here, if I remember correctly.

It's hard for me to put my finger on it. I think something is either different about the moral caliber of the guys that are coming on this team now, recently in the last couple of years, or else something is different about Sean Payton's ability to enforce rules and hammer home a code of conduct and personal responsibility, in order to redeem these guys.

Bottom line? This team is a dumpster fire of distractions right now. And it's starting to look like Payton is maybe not in control of any of it.

As much as I want to move on, that bountygate BS has ****** this team and coach up so bad that they might never recover. Payton hasn't been the same since he came back

It's not the team or coach, it's the country. the whole country is turning into a bunch of whiners always getting their feelings hurt about something. OOH he touch me, I need a million dollars now!! WTF throw a drink in his face and move on like it was in the old days. Everyone one is too soft today and easily offended. Man up and stop this Pussification of America

I don't think she should receive money, but it certainly appears Cam is likely wrong. He didn't beat them up or anything, but touching her ass like that makes me lose respect for him. The only way I'd feel different abut it is if she was hanging out with him all night and shaking her ass (intentionally) in his face and then he smacked it. Like she was hanging out with them and started being sexual toward them, etc. But if all she did was walk by and he smacker her ass...I have absolutely no respect for that type of behavior. It is beyond repulsive. And if he did do that, smacked her ass as she was walking by, yeah that is a form of assault.

Yeah, everyone is easily offended, especially those whining about the "pussification of America" and "the old days"...

On the same level are those who resent professional athletes for making the type of escarole they make, and get all bent out of shape because so and so "makes millions to play a child's game" and so and so displays human behavior... it's not a brain surgeon showing up drunk to surgery... it's a ball player.

As for Cam, maybe he slapped that ass, maybe he didn't. But as it's been pointed out, this is only news because it is a professional ball player. I bet you my house that woman's ass wasn't the only ass slapped in that club that night. Heck, I'd probably bet my house that it wasn't only Cam slapping that particular ass that night. But what I take from the incident personally: no posse, no guns, no fights, no shots, no one bled, no one dead, nothing broke... nothing to see here...

How do you figure I'm whining? I'm just saying it like it is. Too many people have thin skin these days. If you like the direction this country is headed today, that's your opinion but personally I think this country is going downhill with everyone thinking they're entitled to something or offended by something they disagree with.
