How the 2015 Saints Go 16-0 (And How They Don’t)
Interesting reading.
I am a homer, so whatever comes next, you’ve been warned. My official 2015 Saints prediction is 16-0.* There’s literally no one on the schedule that we can’t beat and (honestly) the only team that scares me is the Indianapolis Colts and even they are eminently defeatable. So my prediction is 16-0. As in, we won’t lose a game this year…unless things go sideways. I’m not so much an optimist that I can’t see this as a possibility, over even an eventuality, but we’re going into Week 1 and everything is roses. As I map out the season, I see everything breaking exactly right — a healthy Brees destroying worlds like it’s 2011, a surprising pass rush that has Kikaha with 11 sacks and Jordan with another 10, a Pro Bowl caliber season from Brandin Cooks, and, of course, no (additional) injuries. If things start to fall apart, we’ll lose some games here or there, and while I’m sticking with my 16-0 prediction, here’s what has to happen for the 2015 Saints to start losing some games. Ummmmmmmmmm . . . I wanna get with you on this . . trust me . . but already too many injuries and new faces . . question marks . . but I know we will have a good year . . . Im afraid to make predictions because of last year. Who would have thought we came out and lost to the falcons and the browns in the same month . . .lol . . I will take the wait and see approach . . but hope for the best, especially with this defense . . we already know the offense is in good hands . . . WHO DATT! !! !!
