Re: Payton/Brees are 1-4 in road openers
It would be nice to say things will get back to normal next week because of "Dome Sweet Dome" but in reality we're 0-5 in our last home games. Oh, and feeling like we'll destroy a rookie QB in his first road game... I don't have that feeling of superiority anymore. Learned that lesson with RG3.

Re: Payton/Brees are 1-4 in road openers
We lost our last five home games because we had bad offensive lines and played without Armstead against Atlanta on top of weakness at center and LG already. Also it just so happens our home games were tougher than our road games. We are not the first team to get bit by a homestand of Cincinatti and Baltimore. San Diego had it happen in 2012 when they, like us, were dealing with ol problems. Those are among the worst teams to play if you can't protect. But if we had an ounce of defense we could have won those games.
Listening to Deke and Bobby, they proved my point exactly on Benson. He is not gonna let them go because like I said they gave him a superbowl trophy. |

Re: Payton/Brees are 1-4 in road openers
Since the NFL home field advantage overall is about 60%, the NFL average for 5 road games 2-3.
But I can't find a stat on home openers. I'd imagine its higher than the normal 60% So we're 1-4, and stats show we should be 2-3. A 1 game delta from the norm isn't really a big deal is it? |

Where are you all planning on going cuz Coach isn't going anywhere.
I still think RR needs to move on SP could be preoccupied worrying about the Defense. Just don't see the cohesion there and actually never did from the opening bell. |
