this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Fine with the 4th down call. Our receivers can't get open and continue to drop balls. Brees can't fix. D did alright but they misses some turnovers....

There comes a time in the game, though, that it doesn't matter how you've played to that point and you simply have to go for it. That was one of those times. If we are going to defend the decision to punt based on how poor the offense was, then how in the world do our chances go up with the ball deep in our own territory with somewhere around 50 seconds and no timeouts? Of course we didn't get it back at all, but if we forced a three and out, that would have been the scenario.
