Sean Payton: Pass rush “wasn’t good enough” last week

It is as simple as this Gap Assignments. Go back to the first thing you learn on the defensive line as a high school kid. Jenkins either blows it or just gets pushed out of the gap. Whenever a QB steps up and there is nothing but green in front of him. Some one blew their assignment. Jenkins is a huge weak link right now. He is getting pushed around by a single player and not eating up blocks.

Go back to basics: Maintain your Gap Assignments

FA looks a bit thin and as does the draft at NT next year. So the saints better get this solved by years end.

Sorry for us but Big John simply isn't very good.

He was average in the Zona game. He played the NT so he isn't gonna register many tackles or hurries.

He graded out average in both run and pass defense. In fact he was our 7th best defender according to PFF.

Yeah, he's nothing special, but he's not bad.
