It is as simple as this Gap Assignments. Go back to the first thing you learn on the defensive line as a high school kid. Jenkins either blows it or just gets pushed out of the gap. Whenever a QB steps up and there is nothing but green in front of him. Some one blew their assignment. Jenkins is a huge weak link right now. He is getting pushed around by a single player and not eating up blocks.
Go back to basics: Maintain your Gap Assignments FA looks a bit thin and as does the draft at NT next year. So the saints better get this solved by years end. |
