Ben Watson more than just traditional tight end

The Saints ran 22 plays -- nearly one-third of their total -- with four receivers and a running back.

One of those receivers was always a tight end and almost always Ben Watson, lined up in the slot position.

In the Saints' second-most frequent formation, the three-receiver set, the tight end was on the line of scrimmage in his traditional position.

Watson got virtually all of the snaps in both sets. Of the 66 snaps Watson played overall, he was a traditional tight end 36 times and lined up as "Y" slot receiver (or a hybrid tight end) 30 times.
