Hate to say it
Ihave given RR a ton of **** and defended sean like crazy, but I am really at a point where two years in a row of this garbage is a trend. I think Sean is done. I hope I am wrong and somehow this turns into a wake up for us, but I kept thinking that last year too. I don't see it.
Halo, where's Bill Cowher? |
Re: Hate to say it
Bill Cowher or Jon Gruden.
We need to start from scratch, but the frustrating thing is we all know we'll be watching this disappointment all year and all next year too. Khiry is so much better than Ingram Sean Payton is done Brees too, he's no longer a threat to defenses and throws the ball into triple coverage |
Re: Hate to say it
-Forced the ball to Spiller early.
-Get two TD's down, THEN wants to run the ball. -Results. Six straight home losses. -Brees may be in great shape, but his arm is lacking. -Lelito and Strief were whipped today. -No pass rush. -Bucs are not good. -Saints look worse. |

pass rush is an absolute joke just terrible. And worst then all is the lack of frigan energy |
Re: Hate to say it
Payton and Loomis are done. Giving them the benefit of the doubt based on past success has crippled this team. Time for them to go.

Re: Hate to say it
Since we saving money let's unload Brees too and then we can really start from scratch...he is done...no zip on any of his passes...everyone pass comes out the same...he better start using his legs.
Everyone on here wanted to resign Ingram when he wasn't our best RB last year....he just got the most touches. |

Re: Hate to say it
If we are really going to be this team, in my opinion, Brees should be traded at the end of the season and SP should be fired.
Let's rebuild for real, Seattle did it with a rookie QB because they had a great defense and running game |
Re: Hate to say it
The entire coaching has to go. At the very least the play calling has to be taken away from Sean.

He just wasn't worth the money. Lot's of mistakes made by this team. |
Re: Hate to say it
I've been defending Ingram since the start, but it's easy to see Khiry is the better player
When Khiry is in the game our offense moves. We should move forward with Khiry in my opinion. Sean Payton is the real problem, but in typical Payton fashion he will fire someone else (Probably Rob Ryan) to shift the blame from himself. |

Look 2 years ago Carolina went 0-2 and looked HORRIBLE. They wound up righting the ship and going to the NFCCG. They were ready to fire everyone. Crazier things have happened. |
Re: Hate to say it
Carolina has not gone to the NFC Championship game with this team and lucked into the playoffs with a 7-8-1 record. they have looked awful offensively just like us so far this year but look who they have played? A Jacksonville team that is still in growing mode and Houston without their best offensive player. Yeah we could lose next week but I'd like to think we don't forget about the last game.

Re: Hate to say it
Six straight loses at home. We don't score first or last anymore and we don't score enough.
The time has come. |

Not sure if Cowher has the desire to coach anymore. |
Re: Hate to say it
Coaching staff should sing this:
"i hate to say it i hate to say it but it's probably me" |
Re: Hate to say it
The thing that really annoyed me was when the D got off the field with 2 minutes to go;
1. Every other team barely needs 50 seconds to march the ball against us 2. Stephone Anthony was that fired up he went up to Brees and Payton to help motivate them, they both looked at him as if to say "we probably won't score and you'll be back out here soon" Then what happened Clock ran down to 1:20 and how far had we moved I hear you asking? 4 yards....4 yards in 30 seconds.... I personally hope this is the end of the Payton era, unfortunately that means Brees too but we have to look to the future I'd fire SP and trade Brees. |

The problem isn't the WRs the only dropped pass today was from Johnson, but there were a dozen awful throws. Brees seemed to have more time in this game but held on to the ball. Even on the Sacks Brees had over 3 secs with the ball. |

I know we're all tired of hearing this, as well, but it bears repeating that Drew wanted that huge deal, and that has a lot to do with the problem. But it certainly isn't the only reason. Everything has been mismanaged, lately. |

What is Mora doing these day? |
Re: Hate to say it
Drew had plenty of time on a couple of throws
Go back and watch the pick he threw Play action, plenty of time and he threw an absolute wounded duck down field and into double coverage - interception. Drew is not without blame, its time to move on from them both, our offense is not feared because every team (especially those in our division) have figured us out!!! |

Re: Hate to say it
Our franchise has a tendency to clean house, get hungry and reach another level of success, and then soon after that our leadership goes south. Happened under Mora, Haslett, and now Payton. Well technically, I'm too young to remember if we 'cleaned house' before Mora's arrival.
I'm sure this problem isn't unique to our franchise, but it damn sure is true with us. Please no Cowher. He's been away for far too long, and I think it would turn out pretty poorly, like Ditka. |
Re: Hate to say it
damn shame Harbuagh went to college. we need toughness. What about ken norton jr, is he headed in that direction?

Re: Hate to say it
All we have is Cooks at this point but he's covered by the best DB so that leaves us with pretty much nothing. Nobody else can get down field or get open. Cooks had to create a pick to get Snead a TD and even that was borderline penalty. Very disturbing situation. Counting the gift from the Bucs last year, that's a real losing climate of 7 games in a row with PS. This situation does not looked like we are going to be able to fix it.

Re: Hate to say it
hard to rebuild with cap max out for the next few years then add to it 25% of that cap is out walking the street or playing else were is a killer.
draft history 2014 1 player 2013 2 players 2012 1 player 2011 2 players 2010 ZERO 6 players still on the roster after 6 years THERE IS THE ISSUE! We need 2 solid years of drafting before 2017 or this could be a really stretch |

Re: Hate to say it
I blame a lack a vision from the front office.
I've been saying for the past year that Brees has lost his ability to see the field in depth and his deep pass. Without those, he's average...but his stats are deceptive due to the high number of passes (all short of 15 yards by the way). Much like Favre, Montana, Warner, and others at the ends of their careers, his shelf life is expired and the team needs to look to the future. Dump him and his top heavy contract and get to rebuilding. Otherwise, we have another 2 years of watching a team in decline unable to rebuild! |
Re: Hate to say it
I would've like us to start building with Ryan Griffin but that is out the door. I am still trying to figure out why draft Grayson or P.J.Williams while Sammie Coates was still on the board
|
Re: Hate to say it
Seattle's 0-2 just like we are.
