this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; There were a lot of good posts today in the gamethread, but these two stand above the rest in my opinion... Originally Posted by ChrisXVI This is what the end of an era looks like. Originally Posted by Halo I'm ...

The era ended in 2012; we just didn't know it until now!

Re: Posts of the day
Midway through the 3rd quarter after there was only 1(one) time fans had to cheer about anything the entire game. People started filing out in droves. In the 40 plus years I've attended opening home games, this was one of the worst. Just remember, the Saints have NOT won a single game this year including preseason. Again, fans would start to get revved up only to be squashed by penalty, turnover, drop pass, long run, bad everything. |

Re: Posts of the day
I felt strongly we should have traded both 1's to move up for a WR or DT. This receiving corp is bad, they can't get open or haul in a tough one now and then. Can't do it. It has to be a perfect throw with nobody around and even that might not be good enough. We are better on defense but need another pusher to kill 3rd and long. I have never seen a team get smoked so many times in 3rd and long. It's a real problem.

Not that I am saying there should be, just saying. |
