this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Receiver was not the problem today... Brees just has to remember what quarterbacking life was like before Graham... And exactly how were we going to afford players when we're having to release and re-sign just to tread below the salary ...

Brees just has to remember what quarterbacking life was like before Graham... And exactly how were we going to afford players when we're having to release and re-sign just to tread below the salary cap?!? Problems this team is having are roster neglect, mismanagement since we won it all... Besides, Jones has a better quarterback right now throwing to him... |

He would've sucked with us, he has really good chemistry with Aaron.

And even with the drops in that game, I could see Drew wasn't exactly sharp, himself.
It's a team wide problem, but Drew has done nothing to warrant a free pass. He's the veteran. He's got to put his team in the best position to win, even if he has a lack of talent to throw to. He is NOT doing that. Not because he isn't trying, I'm sure, but he just isn't good right now. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

It's going to take a couple of drafts to get good enough again. | |

Re: We could have had James Jones
Doesn't matter if you have the best WR in the league with no one to deliver it to you in stride. Look at Megatron thus far this season...

Who's to say we didn't try to contact him?
Maybe he didn't want to play here. Maybe he wanted to play with Green Bay. |
