Back-ups sometimes provide a spark. It usually only lasts a game or two but it could happen.

We're not better off with McCown, but he could provide a spark and re-motivate the team for when Drew returns rejuvenated in a week or two.

Then again... sometimes they go down in flames horribly from the 1st snap until they're yanked for the inexperienced rookie.

what I keep hoping Danno is that the fact that they allowed drew to get hurt changes the mentality entirely and we play with passion. That's my hope, but I am believing nothing until I see it.

Defense wins this game. Even if Brees was healthy, defense wins this game. Keep Cam in the pocket and you have a chance. No big runs...
