Today is proof that it doesn't matter who is our QB: Brees, McCown, Montana, Manning... it will NEVER matter when the defense is a doormat!
We didn't stop ANYTHING, and when Carolina was stopped they stopped themselves on a blown play. Did Cam get sacked? No. Pressure the QB? NO! Could we cover Olsen? Heck NO. Would we even try to make defensive changes? NO. Browner = ALL DAY LONG!!! It doesn't matter who is at QB. Our defense is such a doormat that the offense would need to score a touchdown every single time they touched the ball, plain and simple. It's just a waste of talent like Brees, McCown, Spiller, etc. etc. because they have to play a PERFECT game for us to have a chance. |
