Other guys are dropping them but they have no history of being solid WR's. I expect Snead and Coleman to struggle. I expect Colston to be clutch. I've defended him long enough. He costs us 1-2 drives a game. I hate to say it but he needs to be out of there.

And replace him with whom?

Interesting. He is the only WR getting open over the middle. Where are the TE's down the seam? Where are the 10 yard hooks? Where are the sluggo routes? I just don't see any good routes run by any of the receivers. Snead drops what should have been an easy sideline pass towards the end of the game as well as Colston but no one is saying Snead is done. A lot people on here are too critical because they think a player is too old, perhaps it's just that we're a bad team right now and the young players can't beat out the older players.

We've had SOME drops by all of our receivers. Coleman has drown the ire of many, including myself, for his play. But no one has come close to dropping as many balls as Colston, and NO ONE is making the kind of money he is making in that receiving corps.

He's not being singled out, but he's getting the most negative attention for good reason. Snead dropped an easy pass. Colston dropped about 4. I challenge anyone to find a good excuse for that.

I was very impressed with McCown performance. Very tidy.

Yep, I think we knew that Colston is not what he was. In one breath we want to keep all the fellas that was good for us one time and then we get choked when they play like old men. You know, sometimes we have to accept that when we reach the end of a book, we should close it. Maybe we are slow at realising when we are at the end of the book.

Maybe Wayne now but thats it. A few years back we should have taken Moss, but SF was the mot manipulative organization at the time that brought players on just to keep the other team from getting them.

A good example..........Nnamdi.

Who knows but without his drops Luke would have only had 2 incomplete passes. Not bad. IF we had a decent defense Luke is just good enough to get us to the playoffs. Too bad we dont. Who knows what is up with Colston. We will probably hear at the end of the year that he has fingerprint injuries or something stupid like that.

The guys on the bench can not be any worse than Colston at this point. Time for him to take his ball and go home(if he can still carry without dropping).

I was surprised on Mccown play. I will be eating a plate of crow if he have a repeat performance or even half the performance he had with Carolina
