Re: Bench Browner
You would think Browner was the rookie or 1st year player. Breaux is seldom tested. Swann a rookie been tried at but with no or little success. By my assessment Browner need to play up on the wr (man to man) with a safety over the top or lb/safety to prevent a slant. He can not be left on a island. Browner kryptonite is the slugo (slant and go) Rex Ryan need to know what his player weakness and strength and play to it. Kikaha don't need to be dropping in pass coverage 10 or 15 % of time, The linebacker need to be less predictable if they're going to rush or drop in zones. The talent is there but the position coaches are not
I tried to wait for my 1000 post to be after a win :( |
Re: Bench Browner
When Lewis returns Browner will be benched I'm sure of it. He would be our #4 CB at that point.

Re: Bench Browner
I don't think he's been as bad as many of you think - the Carolina game wasn't good, but I liked the one play where he caught the receiver from behind and lunged for a successful tackle. At least that play showed he wasn't willing to give up on the play, otherwise it would've been a TD.
Browner is supposedly a locker-room leader, so while the current state of the team might suggest that he isn't doing a good at leading - the young team around him desperately need veteran leadership. |
Re: Bench Browner
It's all about the coaching...............Browner is not being played to the old mans strengths. Press baby!!!
