Fire Rob Ryan
Do it now!! Do it on the plane and have his sh!t sitting on the tarmac.

Re: Fire Rob Ryan
I never wanted him to start with. He's not the only problem with our team, but he is definitely a big one.
|
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
It's time.....plus Joe Vitt and Bill Johnson
|
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
Yea the whole defensive coaches including Allen. None of these guys are any good coaching players case in point Vitt. He's been here coaching linebackers since 2006. No linebacker we have drafted amounted to nothing most we get we cut after a few years. Vilma and Lofton came from other teams. Is it bad drafting? Perhaps but I think a lot of players don't shine on the defense is a lack of good coaching from Rob at the top to position coaches. Its is not just Robs fault

Re: Fire Rob Ryan
come on 3rd and short? what would you call?
ZONE ZONE ZONE ZONE ZONE Over and over again and again Hey Rob our ZONE DEFENSE SUXS. we all saw that during the pre season. was Rob even at those games? I will say the DL held their gap assignments today better than I have seen in a long time. |
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
I was at the game today. If we don't let him go, he's going to die on the sideline from a stroke.
|
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
I know it is killing him. I know he cares. But he is no Greg Williams.
|
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
Who would yall like to see them hire to replace him?

This falls squarely on Rob Ryan. Edit: Browner has been down right awful in all three games :(. I'd rather see Swann on the outside. Serious problems right now on D. |

Just sayin, someone NEW, not the NFL carousel. |
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
I agree it's almost like RR is not watching the game or something.
No adjustments at all, the opposing play callers must be in seventh heaven. |
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
Browner was used as a targeted CB cover man. The Pats picked a player and that was his man. Man coverage all game long. Up at the line Jamming the other player into submission within those first 5 yards.
Browner off the line in zone is just exposing his Achilles heel. Maybe when Lewis get back things will change. But making Browner give a cushion is stupid. That ain't his game. Swann maybe the answer opposite of Lewis and let Browner beat up on his man all game long. If Lewis was back and Browner had Olsen all game long, I guarantee he would have neutralized him at the line all game long. True man coverage or at the very least press coverage is what we need. We sux in zone |
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
How about getting Greg Williams back. Socializing is out but winning is in

Re: Fire Rob Ryan
Imagine if we bench Browner when Keenan comes back
Breaux has played much better after being a penalty machine the first game Damian Swann (who many called a camp body) is our most consistent CB at the moment Imagine Keenan and Breaux, with Swann at Nickel, if the D line could stop acting like 2 years and actually do their job we might field a better D. We need a consistent Defensive coordinator .......and stop paying 60 million for guys that aren't playing!!!! |

Browner should never be asked to give cushion. |
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
I think everyone needs to go from the GM down.

Re: Fire Rob Ryan
It's the same broken record, year in and year out,,,,,not saying that RR and spagnano should have gotten or get whacked, but we keep bringing in unhealthy old turd balls, or cats that stink. As long as our front office keeps bringing in guys who are either too old, or start the season not able to play, wouldn't matter if Turd Ferguson ran the defense. Although at least he'd have an excuse. It's the same thing,,,,,,,,,Where's Turd Ferguson!!

Re: Fire Rob Ryan
Having J Byrd and Lewis will fix the d-line to rush the passer and not allow him 18 Mississippi to throw right ? Ha

Re: Fire Rob Ryan
Something something fire somebody something something. Zzzzz same old song and dance.

Re: Fire Rob Ryan
What I don't understand is the lack of a blitz from Rob .
He definitely don't have his old man's aggressiveness that's for sure. |

Re: Fire Rob Ryan
Ryan tries to create exotic schemes, but his teams lack technique and fundamentals. It has become his calling card. The longer he stays somewhere, the worse his defenses get.
|
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
Can't hurt. Worst pass rush I've ever seen. Can't cover a TE at all. No one making a play at all on defense. 3-8 over the last 11 regular season games.
|
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
Carolina doesn't have a host of talent on offense. It's basically Cam, Stewart, and Olsen (maybe Ginn Jr.). I can understand Cam getting his yards, he's an amazing athlete. I can understand Stewart getting his 3.5 average, but what I can't understand is a TE coming off the line unchecked after he's burned you multiple times for big gains. It's inexcusable. And Sean knows better.

The team look like they don't want to play for him anymore. We used to be the kings of half time adjustments, now even the raiders are making us look.pathetic. |
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
I guess no one is holding SP accountable. The ownership is preoccupied fighting each other. So we have a trophy in the showcase what do we do next for kicks.
|
Re: Fire Rob Ryan
Regardless of level of play there are two basic philosophies to playin a good defence.
You either take a bunch of great athletes and put them in a simple defence and just let them get after the opponent. Or you take a bunch of lesser athletes and try to tailor the defence around the to cover up the deficencies. Right now it feels like we are doing neither. I can't pinpoint what is lacking but we just don't have it right now. I myself prefer the first scenario, I would like that we keep drafting defence and get a new DC to install a regular 4-3 with over and under fronts. 3-4 is nice and dandy but its so hard to find the right pieces. |
