Don't think Drew's injury is that serious. If it was he would be on IR with designation to return or IR in general. No way with the way we need help on both sides of the ball would we waste a roster spot just to play games about him being hurt or able to play. Payton is not that stupid.

@Edwerderespn #Saints QB @drewbrees flew to Birmingham for extensive evaluation of passing shoulder by Dr James Andrews. Results very positive. Status tbd 6m I am assuming this just happened today since it was just posted on ESPN |

I had a "small" tear in my rotator cuff repaired. If Drew does have a tear he won't be back till the season is long dead and buried.
