I think our offense is just as much at fault as our defense. They wouldn't let RR hire his own people and brought in Allen on top of that. I don't believe they have given him a fair chance to begin with.

Rob Ryan's defenses have finished in the bottom half of the league something like approximately 10 of the 14 seasons that he's been a DC. I have no reason to think that he will ever make a big impact, even w good players.

never liked Ryan and always thought he was more name than coach. We would be better off to have Payton call the plays.

We got more with less with Greg Williams. I believe Ryan may not be the sole reason we aren't that good,but he is the main problem. We need a DC and some defensive coaches that will turn these players into animals. We may not have a group of all pros on D,but we do not lack talent on that side of the ball. Most importantly, we need to pick a f**king scheme and stick with it. Changing schemes every year is no different that getting a new DC evey year.

What part of the defense is consistent? Maybe LB's, every other part has been suspect.
