Mike Lansford, the Rams kicker who kept the Bum Phillips, Kenny Stabler Saints out of the playoffs mentioned something about "Picking out the biggest drunk in the stands and kicking at him"

Re: Missed FG due to a Dallas Fan Distraction?
I was thinking about Super Dome fans. They voted to keep the crunk song that just doesn't do it anymore and has been played out to the point of vomit.
It's like when The Fonz jumped the shark. I think MOST not all season ticket holders are more casual fans who are awesome at supporting their team but the majority don't know the game like people on this board. I love the Dome and love going to games now and then for the fun, comeratery and the feeling of being a part of something. That being said a game or two a season is enough for me. I would rather watch on TV so I can see what's going on and plays develop. |

Hocker's first time in that situation as a rookie. that was his one get out jail free card. Thankfully, we both still ended up winning and he learned a game time lesson that will never leave him.

Re: Missed FG due to a Dallas Fan Distraction?
What if: The kick is good, the Saints kick off. Dallas returns the ball to their own 45 yd line. A draw play gets them 7 yards. Weeden drops back and beats Breaux again as time expires! Chalk up yet another "Moral" victory!
