I don't know if that is true. I mean under that logic you could say the same thing about Amristead. I think the idea is to bring guys along at a certain speed that allows the to be successful. You don't want a guy to lose confidence. Armistead took over later in the season and that was because chuck was bad bad, i mean way worse than strief. So I just am not sure it is a reflection of his skillset. Armistead sturggled in his initial start

One win and everyone thinks we're on our way? They haven't done anything yet. 1, count em, 1 win. Lets see what we can do in a couple more weeks. If we can get to 3-3 then we've got a chance to do something.
