See, I see it as more of an accomplishment and less of a 'turning point'. The latter assumes too much. Honestly the next two games will say much about whether we've turned any corner. Beat the wounded birds, then beat the dirty ones? Give me STELLAR protection for Drew and SOLID blocking for whichever back is hot and we're 3-3 with real life. Frankly I wouldn't hang my hat or either one. No way.

But I could talk myself into being encouraged even at 1-5. Straight face. Seriously. We're young. But now the kids know they can win a game like that, regardless of who is playing. Let's go out and beat a healthy team on a roll, like Atlanta. Then I'll join the corner-turning crowd. The way I feel right now I'd be happy just to keep that game close.

And now, having said that, if you'll please excuse me whilest I go and wash my mouth with soap...

Happy for the win. We did look like a new born fold trying to stand on our legs. It will take some more time for this team to gel on both offense & defense. I must say I do like their enthusiasm. They seem eager to learn & to perform at a higher level. It is promising for the near future.
