Drew Brees named NFC Offensive Player of the Week
Wednesday, the NFL announced Saints quarterback Drew Brees has been named the NFC offensive player of the week after beating the Cowboys 26-20 on Sunday.
According to the NFL, Brees has won the award 21 times and this selection marks his 19th as a Saint. Brees threw for 359 yards on 33-41 attempts with 2 touchdowns including an 80-yard strike to C.J. Spiller to win the game in overtime. Brees' game winner also doubled as his 400th career passing touchdown.  Drew Brees named NFC Offensive Player of the Week |
