What does alsaints113 stand for

OK, I never formally introduced myself on this forum so now I will. I'll also put out everything I agree with or disagree with as far as the Saints World is concerned:

I'm an almost 27 year old Molecular Biology Ph.D. student originally from Pennsylvania but now in Shreveport (TEXAS...lol) for graduate school. My dad is originally from New Orleans so I have been there several times (and seen Saints games) to see family. This is at the root of my love for the city and the team. I'll be moving there (in with my fiance)once I finish my Ph.D. so hopefully the Saints are still there.

OK so now on to my Saints opinions, at their most basic:

1.) Aaron Brooks...lets get this one out of the way. He is a pretty darn good QB when he wants to be but mades some awful mistakes. I have to say I would like to see someone come in and push him for his job...hopefully someone proven. Brees and Rivers makes me nervous.

2.) Deuce...He is the man.

3.) Karnivore...He rocks, but the coaches need to get off that dumb two TE set to let him give Deuce the proper blocking. This would keep Deuce healthier, and probably result in more yardage for the Ole Miss alum.

4.) Wide receivers...I love Joe Horn, his heart is something else. Donte is the second coming of Sean Dawkins (pass dropper extraordinaire). Maybe Devery could actually get some starts and push Donte to be what he can be. Pathon...well he's probably not staying from what I have read.

5.) TE...we need someone with consistency here. The two headed Boo-Well moster just didn't cut it. But we also need our own identity. I see no reason to follow the TE bandwagon when we have the receivers we have.

6.) OL...AWFUL. Not sure what to do here, I just know they aren't that good. Riley needs to wake up and pay attention. The line hasn't been the same without Fontenot and Turley...yes I liked Turley's fire a lot. Maybe in the end, this revamped line just needs more time together. It isn't good to keep on messing with lines...they need chemistry.

7.) DL...Grant rocks, Smith rocks, Howard = bye bye, Youg is OK I guess. They need to settle on a fourth lineman. Is it going to be Green, Whitehead, Leisle or what?

8.) LB corps...I really like Watson, when I get to see them play (when they dont show the stupid Cowgirls up here) I am really impressed by him. That's about it...this is a huge hole in the team.

9.) secondary...McKenzie gives them heart (see last 4 games of the season). Fahkir Brown is an up and comer. Thomas needs to stay healthy and return to his '03 form. Other than that they're alright now but we need to pick up somebody in free agency or the draft (better free agency) to push these guys, especially Tebucky. There's room for improvement is what I mean.

10.) Team overall...If they play this next season like the last 4 games of last, they'll be poised for a long playoff run.

11.) Coaches. Sayanora McCarthy...smart decision, this guy is so predictable. Not sure why they decided to get away from the things that made them one of the higest scoring offenses. Venturi must spedn most of his days under Benson's desk. He needed to go a long time ago and I still think so. Haslett: If he really had a lot to do with the defense th elast 4 games, then he needs to keep it up. I don't disagree with his not being fired/extension because it isn't his fault the players aren't up to par. Haslett doesn't cause 20 yard backward passes, dumb INT's, mistackles, no blocking, offsides. I'm sure he doesn't sit by and not say anything to the players after these things either. Hasletts a fiery guy, he probably tears them a new one.

OK, thats it. So now you see where I stand. I don't think I'm a sunshiner or a moonshiner. I think there are bad things and good things but I like to concentrate on the good in hopes that one day...ONE DAY...we may drink from the cup of sweet victory.

P.S. I don't see anything wrong with the Superdome so Benson needs to chill. He just wants money and to keep up with the Joneses.
