The Saints will of course say all the right things and profess to doing them each week, but clearly that's not the case. Teams that are "doing all the right things," as Drew Brees claimed the Saints are, don't begin the season 1-4

I could see this in pre-season. Also watching the D look like lost kids out there knowing nothing good was going to come from them at all. Jordan at Jack was like a bad joke, good at DE but as a lb. not at all. That 4-3 blunder we run is pathetic. Not to mention for the 1000th time the D's coaching staff. What I didn't see was how bad the O-line play has been, silly me. I'm still saying it's going to be a 5 win season. Cap hits and big contracts has sunk our Saints back to the bottom and it's going to take time with great drafting to bring us back up.

Don't forget, this is a divisional game. All the naysayers claiming to know how this will truly turn out are venting after getting skull drug by the Eagles. We could be 0-9 and still have a shot at this game.

Thanks WWL for letting me know its going to be a long season. I had no idea before I read that. (No offense to the OP. It just seems ridiculous for WWL to title this article with something as obvious as "Its gonna be a long season".)

Of course it's gonna be a long season. We totally suck. But hey, the Atlanta game should be interesting.

Going to be very interesting to see how things shape up at the end of the season if things carry on as they are, e.g the hire and fire scenarios etc.

SP was quoted as saying he doesn't intend going anywhere else, he's just had a big house built here.

I like SP and what he's done for this team over the years but if he doesn't get things turned around soon, I'm guessing the choice of going or staying probably won't be his!
