Re: NFL Week 6 odds: New Orleans Saints open as underdog at home against Falcons
If you look at the bigger issue, the better teams have always won on Thursday night. No upsets usually ever happen.
So far this season Denver, better than KC New York, better than Washington Baltimore, played Pittsburgh without Big Ben Indy, better than Houston Last year NYG, better than Washington Philadelphia, tied with Dallas Dallas, better than Chicago NE, better than NYJ Miami, tied with Buffalo GB, better than Minnesota Detroit, better than Chicago Baltimore, week 2 and at home against Pittburgh Cleveland, not better than Cincinatti NO, better than Carolina(yes, we were) Atlanta, better than TB Indy, better than Houston Jacksonville, better than Tennessee Seattle, tied with SF Arizona, had more to play for than StL Denver, better than SD Oakland, not better than KC. There have only been a few instances where a not better team has won. KC lost in Oakland. Buffalo lost in Miami. However, the road losers were not playing for the high seed, they were playing for playoff contention. We would be pulling off a unthinkable upset if we were to win. |
