Browns release Garcia
bring him on the cheap with the guarantee of competing for the start. heavy incentive pay. gotta be cheap tho.
if giving him starting money i would not be adverse to giving him the job for a season or two with a walter or frye in the wings. to give him say3-4mil, ab and his 6mil would have to be gone. he is west coast experienced and shows some fire even if he is on the downside of his career. |

If we could get him on the cheap, I agree with letting him compete for the job. Anything more than 2 mil and we have to trade AB and get someone young in the draft to groom. But 2 mil or less, let him try.

A cap move by a re-building team. He still has a couple years of production left.
Yes, if we could get him cheap I\'m all for it. I know he\'s not ashamed of being a running QB. Would we then be called The Thainths ? |

rdox thats funny. but he does got a hot girlfriend. but i agree with all you guys above. bring him in on the cheap. i think he can still play. i even think he could possibly be a leader. i thought he was pretty good in san fran. cleaveland doesnt even count to me. the team was maybe the worse i have ever seen. you know thats a thread to start. can you guys name some teams from years past worse then this years browns. man im going to have to think. those guys were really bad. i think they had one game this year aginst maybe the bills where they had like less then 30 total yards. im not sure thats the team but they had a game like that this year. well if you guys have any interest at all name some teams. i\'d like to read and remember some really bad ones

Holy goodness is Garcia\'s girlfriend fine. He had his ex and his current get into a catfight over him... jeez I wish I was there to witness that. Why couldn\'t I be a 6 foot bald NFL quarterback?!?!?!?!?!??!?!

I do not want to see Jeff Garcia sign with the Saints. The guy seems to be very difficult to work with, and he whines about everything. I do not see him as a good fit for the Saints. Maybe he would sign a cheap contract, but my feeling is he would be a major issue in the locker room. I just do not see it working out.
