What's wrong with New Orleans Saints' run game? Perhaps not as much as you think
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; No commitment from Payton. When we do run it, it's just too predictable. 40 throws and 15 runs will not make the defenses play honest. Ingram, Robinson, Thomas, Ivory... Didn't/Doesn't even matter. None of them were/are "allowed" to get on ...

No commitment from Payton.
When we do run it, it's just too predictable. 40 throws and 15 runs will not make the defenses play honest. Ingram, Robinson, Thomas, Ivory... Didn't/Doesn't even matter. None of them were/are "allowed" to get on a roll. It's my opinion that the O-line would also get on a roll - if allowed. Just no commitment from the top. The result is no "good" success on the ground. |
