Re: SAINTS @Colts Gameday Thread
I know that's what the announcers were suggesting, and I saw that, but it was still a bad throw. The corner was camping out behind Colston, and if Colston had seen it and gone for it, there's a good chance he gets laid out bad. Brees didn't even look, from what I saw. He spun around and just threw it up. That's never a good idea.

For all you who still trust in Spags, the Giants are playing the Cowboys.

Brees had at least 3 balls sail on him with Cooks running across the field with green ahead. Just happy for the win.

Re: SAINTS @Colts Gameday Thread
A lot of what I saw from the Saints today was very positive!
I did begin to wonder, as the game headed into the 4th quarter, if we were about to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory but thankfully we held on for the win! Shame the Falcons managed to sneak a win also though! GEAUX SAINTS! |

Re: SAINTS @Colts Gameday Thread
We came away empty after two huge plays, we won that's the main thing but we really started killing ourselves in the second half.
Ingram ran a 50 yarder and then Brees threw the pick Later brees hit Cooks for 40+ yards and then we started going backwards. |

Re: SAINTS @Colts Gameday Thread
I have watched the first half so far and wow. That is as good as I have seen the Saints play on both sides of the ball (granted this is my second full season of supporting them).
Kikaha and Anthony are picking the game up very well. By much of the commentary on here, Brees must fall away in the second half (like most of the team) because I thought he was solid in the first half. Many of His incomplete passes so far have been catchable. It's amazing how much momentum we got toward the end of the first quarter. We were unstoppable. Makes me think that half of it is between the ears. |
