Was it Lombardi's fault or the fact that the o line is horrendous?

Hell, bring him back if it makes sense to use him as an assistant here.

I don't think it was his fault, hence the 'scapegoat' opinion. The O/Line is not without talent. Caldwell tends to micro-manage and there was some issue with Lombardi being required on the sidelines vs up in the booth. The only game he was allowed up in the booth, to my knowledge, was the win over Chicago where the offense did have a pretty good day, #shrug.

It is what it is and I'm pretty sure it's the usual poor decision that will somehow bite them in the ass. Just another day at the office for the Detroit Lions, I'm afraid. :neutral:.
