might as well have an ongoing news, rumor, and idea thread since there will be increasing buzz in the coming days-
market value- According to a report in The Denver Post, the Broncos are shopping four-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman Trevor Pryce. They have spoken to the Dolphins among many teams. Denver is seeking a second- or third-round pick in exchange for Pryce. http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald...s/10911331.htm even though older, he has been a pro bowler a few times. i dont think we could expect a lot more, low first at best. |

biggest problem with howard is injuries..but yeah i think a high second would be a good grab--or a linneback/cb and a third.

I still think a sign&swap with the Ravens for Hartwell would make my day.

teams that he would fit best on-
dallas- depends if they go 3-4, everyone knows parcells prefers vets over rookies. 2 first rounders to boot. they gotta love the last d lineman they plucked from n.o. jacksonville- third most available cap room. a sackman is highly likely to be their first pick. why not a proven product for a 2nd? san diego- 2 first rounders like dallas, even more cap room. top 2 needs are a howard type and fast wideout cleveland- their could be massive overhaul here opening up even more cap room. crennel might want someone like howard ready to step up. others? why and how? |

I am thinking Miami HAS to want another rusher opposite Taylor, especially since they are gonna lose Surtain. Salary cap issues is a concern there, but losing Ogun last year had to hurt them and Howard would fill that void. I think they will upgrade offense through the draft. More rush up front makes their secondary less suspect without Surtain.
