All I got to watch was the highlights. What I did see only reinforced the fact that given protection, Brees remains one of, if not the most, accurate passers in the game.
Several of the passes where thrown into pretty decent coverage where only a perfect pass gets the TD. Watching the Pats - Jets last week, Brady consistently looked off receivers or dumped the ball in situations where Brees would have made the throw. If the Saint's had a D and a better O line, Brees would need a finger transplant for all the rings. |
