Re: Brandon Browner
My thought exactly! That's the way he played when he was with the Seahawks and they were very seldom penalized! Hopefully he can learn that the rules do apply when you're with another team!

Re: Brandon Browner
Being an LSU fan aswell, I've watched Odell for a while. One thing he is not is physical. He's a great athlete, and he can make the circus catch, but he's not a guy who typically deals with a lot of physicality, unlike his old teammate, Jarvis Landry, who is one of the toughest dude's I've ever seen on a football field.
Breaux is very physical, sometimes to a fault, though he actually has cover skills unlike Browner. I expected that it would be very hard for Beckham to get many big plays on him. I thought Breaux's style of play would wear on him. But Delvin got sucked into so many traps (rubs) and things like that, he was rarely in position to make a play. And the long touchdown he gave up was a total misjudgement of the flight of the ball. To sum it up, he gets really clumsy at times. All the talent is there, and I do recognize that he's young. This is just an observation of what I see right now. And Eli is not a Hall of Famer, by the way. If he got in that would be on name only. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

The future is so bright for this kid, he just has to break some of those old CFL habits. I'll bet he practices on that rub play all freaking week long. |

Re: Brandon Browner
Yall ready for this?
The defense ROCKED yesterday. How many times did they STUFF the run? I saw pressure, aggressiveness, and of lot of great play from the D. 2 of the Giants TDs were freak accidents, the last passing TD was a pinpoint laser from Manning, and a Lynn Swann catch. People, Eli Manning, and his receivers, particularly the guy from Newman, were on fire! The '85 Bears couldnt have kept these guys out of the endzone. Mostly, Like Marques Colston. They got it done, when it counted. Giants last series was a PUNT. This D has come a long way, and will get better. Very encouraged. call me crazy. |

We look like an unguided missle. We're close, very close to becoming a solid defense. Did ya'll know that both Kikaha and Humber left with injuries yesterday? We played with Anthony, Edebali and Mauti for a lot of the game. |

The two rub play TDs are tough to deal with when you are in man. If we wer in zone those would not be scores. |

Re: Brandon Browner
+1. These guys are very encouraging... Edebali was blocked and Eli was in his grasp ... dude reached around the man in front of him and brought Manning to the ground. Outstanding individual effort.
Check out this stat on Anthony ... Ranked - 9th in terms of total tackles at the position. Passes defended - 2nd overall. Overall tackles - 17th in all of the NFL This guy is a ROOKIE. Wait until Jeff Ireland get us a nasty DE/NT alongside of him. Side note: I thought Kevin Williams played like a grown a#$ man yesterday. Trust and believe . |
