I remember a lot of people said that if we could go 4-4 to start we'd be in good shape. I said after the second loss that this where we find out what kind of coach Payton is. If this is a good team by the end of the season he'll have earned every penny he's getting paid. So far I think he's on track. |

Re: Remind Me Not to Get Excited
We need to introduce this offense to the defense that played in Indy.

Re: Remind Me Not to Get Excited
The season will go with the Defense.... who knows what D will show up in what QTR.
One week the D does something well, the next week they are hot trash. I don't know what to think of the D because there is no consistency at all. The only thing we know for certain is Browner will be called for multiple penalties every game. I have never wanted a Saint to get hurt but Browner going down might actually benefit the team. |
Re: Remind Me Not to Get Excited
When would it be appropriate to be excited?

I am not excited but I understand those who are. A win like today is great, but poses a lot of new questions about the D. |
