Just my opinion...
This is another example of the Saints trying to put a square peg in a round hole. (mostly due to the injuries in the secondary) Browner is at his best when he knocks receivers off their routes and covers briefly as they get passed off in zone coverage. Unfortunately, he's being expected to cover longer routes than he should. He's not fast enough to keep up with speedy receivers for more than a second as they blow by him so he grabs and holds. In a role as an extra strong safety, Browner is a beast. |
