Maybe we could start a GoFundMe to make up the dead money hit we would take if we released him? I would donate in a heartbeat if someone started that.

He had 15 all of last year! He's matched it in 9 games! Most penalized single player in the league last year, as well, when he was still with the Patriots. By comparison, he only had 5 called on him in 2013 when he was previously in Seattle (where everybody on the team was doing it, on almost every play).

To me, this stat really sorta proves what people were saying about the Seahawks back in 2013 -- that they really were strategically committing defensive penalties on almost every play -- holding, bumping past 5 yards, illegal contact, mugging, punching face masks, grabbing jerseys, etc -- knowing full well that the refs would not dare to step in and call them on it, every single time, if it was blatant enough on play after play after play. But when it's only one guy alone on the team doing it, instead of the whole secondary, he stands out so badly that the ref pretty much HAS to reach for the hankie.

I completely agree. I think that was the last year before they started calling it about as strictly as possible. Whats worse is that I generally want to argue why we should not receive a penalty, but with his, there is no argument.

That worries me too. Browner's rackin up some serious yardage and first downs. How bad do our coaches think Dixon and Wilson are, that they play Browner ahead of them.

I'd be angry to play beside him right now. There's being bad, then's there's being completely horrible, and then... There's Browner. Completely horrible, terrible sportsman, and an awful example for a bunch of young guys.

He is beyond just football bad, now. He's poison. I would not put up with him as a teammate, and I sure wouldn't keep him on my team if I were an executive. There's going to be a cap hit, but we've seen before (galette) that sometimes that isn't as important.

To be honest I was done with Browner before the season started. The statement he made about wanting to be back in Seattle made me question him even being here or even wanting to be here. We were the only ones willing to offer this fool any money and now he is biting us in the arse.

He needs to go....I wish we could trade him to the CFL for a box of maple cookies.
