Re: Thoughts from the game

December 1977. The 0-26 Tampa Bay Buccaneers play the New Orleans Saints. The Saints realize that the Bucs haven't won in almost 2 years. Being Saints, they consider it a "Moral" victory to let the Bucs have their first win.

Yesterday, the Saints decided that the Titans at 1-6 and with a new head coach deserved to win a game. It was another "Moral" victory for the Saints.

Hokie Gajan predicted a trap game and the saints were able to pull it off.

Being at the game yesterday i was able to watch Rob Ryan on the sidelines. Not once did I see him talk to or coach up a player, and after the Defense finally lost us the game in OT Ryan said nothing to anyone and walked off the field alone. I think Rob knows he is done and I bet we hear something by the bye week.

Shock, that was my thought. Well at least we can just cruise though the rest of the season and work on developing the new players for next year.

I might be wrong but the more I think about it, I think Byrd intentionally tried to snatch the ball away from Lewis. If you think about it, that will totally make him look bad for the reason Lewis been out for most of the season and getting few snaps than Byrd and get a interception before the so called ball-hawk ,,,wouldn't it make the high dollar free agent look bad that he haven't made a interception.

I might be reaching in my comment about Byrd but I hate that our cap dollars are not showing any profits. We might as well kept Kenny Phillip or Pierre Warren
