Perhaps he was totally clueless about our system (that wouldn't be a shocker)
There is nothng wrong with bringing in multiple players. We're evaluating them. There is absolutely nothing wrong with kicking the tires on numerous players. It helps us identify how they may or may not fit in if a certain player is injured.
Do you know for a fact that we're the only team that does this?

They knew he was injured when they got him. It was assumed that he would contribute once he came back, but he didn't get the chance. 6 days isn't time to know what the hell you have. So it just becomes a pointless move, something to do just for the heck of it. And that is my point and my problem with it. James Anderson is 32. What's he gonna do, find the fountain of youth? Kicking those tires will only result in a scuff mark on your shoe.
I don't follow the daily transactions of all teams but I have done so for the Saints, through several regimes, and have never seen so much pointless shuffling. So I find it hard to believe it's the norm for anyone. And it shouldn't be, for the reasons I've given.
