My guess is it's out of respect. Didn't want Ryan to leave with all the media there hounding him. As a person I think Ryan is a good man but as a DC no.
Fire him without all the press camped out and if he wants to talk to the media and can after he gathers himself.

why not? got enough dead money running around the streets partying right now as it is. 25% of the cap at last count. So might as well try to get something out of this. even if it is to have him empty garbage cans

Its not a question of if, its a question of when? They are just dotting I's and crossing T's. Wouldn't surprise me that they announce it later in the week (Friday) so Allen or whoever can have a week to game plan for Houston.
