Re: Sean Payton wasting talent
Asking for Colston apologists so here I am.
I have always been a fan of stats over loosely grounded opinions. So I had to find some stats on all these drops by Colston. Going back to the *****ing from some people here he must be dropping at least 5 passes per game. So what is the reality? Colston is credited 2 drops so far this season. Tied for team most with Watson, Cooks and Austin Johnson. When you look at drops compared to times targeted he is slightly ahead of Watson with 4.2% to Watson's 3.5%. Neither player is doing a horrible job. So there you have it. This is s similar to the "Fire Strief" cries early this season when it was actually Kelmente stinking it up on the inside. Or hating on Harper years past. Sure you don't need to like every player on the team but dislike them for the right reasons not some made up stuff. Dropped Passes: 2015 NFL Season |
W.T. Sherman is my favorite General. After all he did order Atlanta to be burned to the ground.

Re: Sean Payton wasting talent
I would say there isn't anyone on the field Drew has total confidence throwing it to anyway anymore. Colston would be top of his list second to history.
That is of course when the receivers actually get separation and Drew can step up and throw it in the first place. |

Re: Sean Payton wasting talent
Payton has a plan for Coleman. It's just a different plan than when we left training camp. As long as Coleman catches the passes thrown at him then Payton will increase his snaps.
