Whats Up Saints Fans?!!!
It's been a long time. Those of you who are new to this forum, I am a die hard Chargers fan. I'm happy for Drew and glad he found success and was able to bring the Saints their first championship!
Rivers day will come in San Diego. Anyway... I will be in New Orleans from Saturday 11/21 till Friday11/27. Unfortunately, just in time for Saints bye week. DAMN! I'll be right in the heart of French quarter. Any suggestions of places to go to watch Sunday football? I've been there before but it's been a loooogn time. This was in 92 and I went to a Saints/Falcons game. Unfortunately, the Saints lost but it was a fun time! DAMN... What a Rivalry!!! Reminded me A LOT of Chargers and Raiders. So I know all about Beignets, Mc Brains Barbecued Shrimp, Hurricanes on Bourbon Street and great stuff like that. Any suggestions about Sunday football (or anything else) would be much appreciated. Thank You |
Bye Bye Norv! See Ya AJ!
Welcome Telesco, McCoy, Whisenhunt, and Pagano! |

Re: Whats Up Saints Fans?!!!
Hey Bolts were trying not to get Drew killed this season but he's been hit pretty hard. All I can tell you is hit Parkway Bakery & Tavern for some Po-Boys. These people are dead serious about their sandwiches. I will have to yield to the others here regarding sports bars. Although last time I was in NO we hit a couple really good ones but can't help you with the names. If you are traveling to DC at some point I can help you there and the Maryland border cities.

Hey Bolts. Hope you have a great time. A good place for some lunch, Napolean House. Good food, reasonable prices. National WWII Museum is also amazing if you are into that sorta thing.

Hey Bolts, if you want to avoid the crazies in the quarter, Mannings on Fulton
Street across from the Casino is nice in my opinion. Lots of TV's and big screen out on the patio. |

Hey Bolts, whatever you decide to do in the city, BE CAREFUL, it is not the same city as 92'.
