A way for us to not only make the playoffs but win the division
Carolina plays Washington this week and if my number assessment is right that Washington goes 1-3 or 3-1, then Washington pulls out a upset this week, then Carolina goes to Dallas(with Romo) and Saints on the road with nine days rest between them(usually a detriment for a team going on the road again). If we pull out the big home upset week 13, Carolina could lose their next three games. Then they play at home against the falcons, who got destroyed at home last year by them. Atlanta could be looking for payback and if they get in. Carolina has completely collapsed. Atlanta would take first place in the division and Carolina in a must win goes in to the meadowlands and beats the giants only to have to go on the road again the next week against Atlanta. Atlanta is in position to take the division or stay alive in the division race. Then, the panthers know they have to win the last game to make the playoffs and if TB can play dirty in Atlanta they can in Carolina too. Carolina will face a challenge and the pressure mounts and they lose going 10-6.
Atlanta beats the colts, loses to the vikings(it has to go this way. They then get even in TB, get back at Carolina only to run out of gas on three straight road games and lose in Jacksonville, giving them 5 losses. And then Atlanta should they lose to Carolina will be eliminated from division contention. Carolina ends up not clinching and losing. Saints have to win out regardless. The records going into the last week Atlanta 10-5 Carolina 10-5 New Orleans 9-6 If Carolina loses to TB, Atlanta loses to us we have a 4-2 division record to Atlanta's 3-3 and Carolina's 2-4. And you know what, if Carolina loses this week and Atlanta loses to Minnesota, this has a strong possibility of happening or being close to it. |
