Offseason is tough on some fans!

If you're a Saints' fan, life has been miserable watching the Saints barely miss the playoffs the past few seasons.

Missing the playoffs has been hard on all Saints' fans. That's one thing we all have in common.

But, for some fans, the offseason is even tougher!! The offseason absolutely KILLS some Saints' fans!!

Some fans are so sick of the current regime, they want blood!! And lots of it. And it's KILLING their soul that some of the current coaches and players are still here.

These fans don't want to hear anything about winning. Not with the current regime anyway!! In fact, even suggesting that we have a shot of making the playoffs makes smoke come out of their ears.

And if you really want to make their blood boil, just mention that we might have a good season with Aaron Brooks at QB. That blood pressure will really rise!!

Each and every year they say a prayer that Brooks will get cut or traded. Each year they set their sight on some free-agent QB in hopes that he'll be the next starting QB in New Orleans. And each and EVERY year they get disappointed.

I'm telling ya folks, I think it's starting to get to some of 'em. I don't know how much more they can bear. I'm a Brooks fan, so I kinda get a kick out of it myself.

And then there's Haslett. Better known as Aaron Brooks' daddy. Oh, they hate him almost as much as Brooks. But, Haslett comes back to haunt them every year too. I kinda like that too.

Right now is a painful time of year for some Saints' fans. Another season with Haslett and Brooks might push them over the edge.

No drastic changes once again. My my my......... Oh, well....

On the other hand, there are those fans that have to suffer through the regular season as their boy pulls one bonehead play after another. The offseason is the only time they can speak out, because during the regular season they are too busy trying to pull their foot out of their mouth.

i have come to not expect big things out of new orleans in the offseason, but this offseason is definitely one of great disappointment, thus far, and i stress thus far.... our offensive coordinator was not the problem.... if i\'m not mistaken, our defense was the side of the ball that was lacking, not the offense.... i think we\'ve made a tremendous, tremendous mistake by keeping venturi and letting mccarthy walk, or at least not replacing mccarthy with someone better than sheppard..... but that is just like the saints.... just hire within the organization rather than going out and getting someone of real quality.... it almost seems like they hire out of convience, not out of conviction
