Ex-Titans for salvage?
Looks like Samari Rolle won't be the only Titan to hit the market this offseason. The NFL Network reports the Titans, under their present structure, stand to be almost $30 million over the salary cap next season. All rosters must be under the cap by March 2nd (I think...), so they're obviously gonna have to do some major restructuring or clean house/rebuild. NFL Network reports the likelihood is that the Titans will clean house/rebuild rather than try to get all the big names signed by March 2nd. Among the players mentioned were: Samari Rolle, Lance Schulters, Kevin Carter, Derrick Mason, and Steve McNair. I'd be happy to sign any of these guys, and all would fit a need. Given our free agent history, I'm not getting my hopes up, but it's always fun to fantasize... :annoy: |
