Re: 10 biggest NFL free agent busts of 2015 season
I've said it before and I'll say it again - Loomis has been trying to build the team through FA and has been failing miserably at it, along w faiiling miserably at the Draft. He prides himself in finding "diamonds in the rough", which he did when he brought us an injured Drew Brees, Marques Colston, and Jimmy Graham. But a good GM can't build a consistently good team year after year without being successful at making good high round draft picks, and that's where Loomis has failed. That's why we are a sub .500 team and no longer considered a contender.

Re: 10 biggest NFL free agent busts of 2015 season
We don't do anything well, on either side of the ball.
The contract juggling act has finally fallen apart with nothing to show for it. I say - back to basics. Figure out what we/they want to do and be about it. 3-5 year plan to solidify both sides of the ball without going broke. $135 million or so each year to field a team of 54 and NOT have 5-7 bust the cap. There has got to be "some" quality at a decent price out here. We are watching other teams do it. Individual greatness is not what I'm looking for. I'm talking about individuals doing their job and the team becomes great. |

Re: 10 biggest NFL free agent busts of 2015 season
Starts up front...
We've got an overpaid, former All-Pro who's played like he's had one foot out the door two seasons ago... Granted Ireland engineered a deft trade and won the trade with the S'Hawks and got us a great Center, but... Why didn't we finish rebuilding the line and sign a very affordable Cincinnati Guard Clint Boling and continue to allow Lelito to push Evans at right guard? And on defense, why did we spend two draft picks to get a Nose Tackle in John Jenkins because of his grand size only to have him lose fifty pounds so he can play a 3-tech?!? Square Pegs/Round Holes |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Our offense is doing fine in spite of having and elderly Colston and basic no names besides Cooks. If our defense was middle of the pack we could be looking at only 1 or two losses. An offense cant put up 40 plus points evert game and with this defense thats what they would have to do. |
