If you do fire Payton the question is who do you replace him with??? If you don't have a good answer then he stays. Go get the Alabama D coach as our DC.
let's wait and see what DA can do... I am under no illusions about how much he will be able to change this year, but I'd like to see if there is any improvement

Ya'll do realize that NOBODY in the Saints organization gives a rat's behind what we think.

And I'd also add that "we" don't know a fraction of what the entire coaching staff knows.

I'll bet the freaking ball boys know more than 90% of the posters here.

Probably don't want to know some of that stuff LOL.

But we can see everything that happens on the field, which is the bottom line in many ways.

True, but way too many people make claims based on what the see, which may or may not be an accurate assessment of the situation.

Just because we've played badly over the last 2 seasons, does that mean Drew Brees sucks? Does it mean Armstead, Morstead, Jordan, Anthony, Lewis, Unger, Watson, Snead, Swann, Kikaha, etc all suck equally?

Should we cut every player we have because "they all suck"? I'd venture to say we have a few morons here that would actually agree with that.

There's a whole lot of factors that play into that bottom line. Most forum jockeys don't have a freaking clue about the majority of them.

Re: Fire Sean Payton

Be careful what you wish for, heck maybe we'd get someone like a Chip Kelley or Norv Turner……I hope he stays, but someone in the organization needs to replace some of our position coaches…..Patriots seem to coach up the no names, Tom Cable takes no name no bodies, sometimes from the defense and makes a serviceable O line, i think we need an full one gallon entire enema with position coaches. We need to coach what we got and make them better, just doesn't seem like we do that well.

Jones? No. He's inconsistent in Cincinatti as it is. Crabtree is not the number one. Randle is no number one. If he was Eli would not be sucking.

OMG, are you serious? Well might as well shut down the board and everybody go home. I mean if the organization doesn’t get their marching orders from here why have a message board?

Re: Fire Sean Payton

I think Payton quits making all this back and forth a moot point. I think he is done coaching for a year or two. He will take time off to be around his family, sober up, coach his kids team, etc etc. He say he couldnt see himself coaching another 5 years. That was six years ago
