Strategy for Remaining Season?
Well...
While mathematically still alive, we're done - that's our reality. Should the Saints start playing rookies, younger players over expensive veterans? Is it time to go into an evaluation process? See what we have on the roster before the offseason? I'd like to see Andrus Peat at one of the offensive tackles opposite Armstead... Also, I'd play Coleman heavy minutes to see if I need two or one add'l wide receivers... And I'd sit Byrd, let Kenny V show his hand at Free Safety because I'm not sold on him at SS; hell, I don't know that he has the maturity to be on this team... Wouldn't hurt to see some 3-4 with Edebali opposite Kikaha; let us know if we have options with regards to Cam Jordan should an offer present itself... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

As far as Kenny V goes ... sorry but the dude can't cover. Either Dennis doesn't know how to use him or Kenny's play has worsened + he has been flagged for stupid personal fouls at the most inopportune time . I do think we need a premier pass rusher and possibly another Free Safety (maybe Buffalo knew what they were doing). I saw a lot of GRIT from the the defense however upgrades are needed. Giving up 450+ total yards today is not the recipe for winning. |

Re: Strategy for Remaining Season?
Vaccaro may be our 3rd or 4th worst player on defense. I'm not impressed at all.
He'd probably be the worst FS in the NFL. He's a SS, and not a very good one. |

I never thought Jenkins and Harper were good individually, but they had chemistry together and that really matters. |

Re: Strategy for Remaining Season?
Put Grayson in, sit Colston and lets see what Coleman, Snead and Cooks can do as the main guys.
