New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram placed on IR
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Hope it's the lesser of several evil's…..shoulder's can blow for a RB. Thought he picked up the blitzes pretty well this year, hope Drew has new tennies....

He surprised me with how well he catches the ball out of the backfield.
A shame he's injured but atleast its not in a season where we'd miss him going for a playoff push. |

i think we all underestimated him.
realizing now, he was in for not only being a complete back, but obviously, the best backfield blocker, which is vital to our O- scheme. |

I'll bet we see screens, short dump off passes and/or reverses when Spiller is in. I'm just not sure if Payton has any other plays for him. With this porous line we won't see Drew have time to pick apart a defense or go down field with the deep passing game.
