where is CJ Spiller?
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm sure this has been covered but where is he? Is Hightower better than CJ? I had high hopes for him and was excited to see him sign with the Saints after we lost Sproles. But he's been a bust ...

where is CJ Spiller?
I'm sure this has been covered but where is he? Is Hightower better than CJ? I had high hopes for him and was excited to see him sign with the Saints after we lost Sproles. But he's been a bust so far? Didn't saints sign him for even more money than Ingram?

From what I understand he's struggled to learn the offense and Payton doesn't trust him.

I don't buy that one bit. NFL playbooks are modifications off of each other & I think we don't know how to use him along with Mark Ingram. I will say Spiller has not lived up to his contract however in fairness he hasn't had a chance to prove talents in N O.

I thought we were gonna see what he's got in him today with Ingram out, instead Hightower cranked it up

NFL network are now reporting it is "highly unlikely" Spiller is a Saint in 2016 according to sources.
