Re: Delvin Breaux is giving a new meaning to 'shutdown cornerback'
Having Browner on the other side helps a lot. lol
Breaux is very good corner. Pro Bowl year if he didn't slip vs Colts (twice) and had better coverage in Giants and Titans game (titans game, soft coverage in end zone). In offseason he should work on defending the deep ball. |

Breaux's story is amazing from his vertebrae injury to his stint with the Voo Doo and the CFL. Nice to see a hometown kid getting it done.

Imagine if we had a healthy Lewis on the other side and half a pass rush. I don't think we are too far from being a good team again. I hope Payton stays.

Re: Delvin Breaux is giving a new meaning to 'shutdown cornerback'
Vet DeBreaux thoroughly and if he's not killing puppies or belt whippin' hoes, get that man a contract extension - now!!!
It'll give him more locker room credibility when he tells some of these other @$$hats on defense to STFU and start ballin' on defense... IF Westbank comes back healthy, we can work on developing the depth (i.e. Kyle Wilson, P.J. Williams, Brian Dixon) behind them and focus on a nose tackle and another linebacker in the draft... |
Re: Delvin Breaux is giving a new meaning to 'shutdown cornerback'
Once he realized his limitations in the NFL he really grasped the concept of a shut down corner and has played very well.
